Plant a Seed, Read!
Explore stories through planting, growing, and sharing at this year's Summer Book Camp. Each day features crafts and activities inspired by the farm-to-table concept--planting seeds, caring for things that grow, and sharing the harvest together.
Please register at least one day before the start of camp. This enables us to prepare materials, plan activities, and ensure that every camper has the best possible experience.
For children ages 4 through 10, we offer two options for when to attend; choose either the June or July session. Each session lasts three days and is one hour long. Children ages 11 through 12 attend one extended session in June. 11 & 12 year old book camp lasts 1½ hours.
- Age groups are based on your child's age on their first day of camp.
- The cost for all campers is $5. Registration is required and is not refundable.
- To accommodate as many children as possible, campers are not allowed to repeat sessions.
- If you have multiple children to add, please enter the information for one child, then hit the “Add Another Book Camper Here” button. You will then have an opportunity to add another registrant.
Please be aware that signing your child up for Book Camp does not sign your child up for the Summer Reading Program, but children are encouraged to participate in BOTH programs! Summer Reading sign up can be found at our website or at chathamlib.beanstack.org
We sympathize with it being convenient to bring children of different ages to the same camp, but we require attendees to be the proper age- no exceptions will be made.
